Strawberry Shortcake is a sweet but spunky little redhead with enough optimism to fill a strawberry field. She really believes things are growing better all the time and as the unofficial berry princess of Strawberryland, she puts her heart and soul into seeing that things improve for everyone she meets. Strawberry is also quite adventurous, so it's no surprise that she has friends from other lands both near and far.

She shares her berry bungalow with her little sister Apple Dumplin’, her persnickety cat Custard, and her tail-wagging, mishap-manufacturing dog, Pupcake.
Many of Strawberry’ Shortcake’s days are spent in the simple pleasures of tending berry vines of Strawberry also lobes to spend time with her friends, so she frequently visits nearby lands.
A bit down Strawberry lane is the home of her friend, Ginger Snap. Ginger Snap lives in cookie corners, a and made of every cookie imaginable.
Just a chocolate chip to the left of Cookie Corners, it’s a short stroll to Cakewalk, a hilly land of layer cake hills all iced and decorated. Strawberry’s artistic friend, Angel Cake, lives here. 
On the far side of Cakewalk is another sweet place, covered with rows of fruit trees. It’s called Orange Blossom Acres, and its orchards are tended by none other than Orange Blossom herself. 
The land goes flatter and greener on the other side of Orange Orchard; these meadows are called Honey Pony Pastures. The one who grazes there is a very well traveled, lovable talking pony name Honey Pie. 
Beyond the pastures is a wilder place, Huckleberry Briar.
This is a wild land of overgrown bushes, tree houses, and even tree forts. Another good friend of Strawberry Shortcake lives there – a boy named Huckleberry Pie

Holidayland: A Place Full of Joy
Recipes
Have and adult help you wash, strain and slice strawberries. Melt butter in a bowl in the microwave on a low setting until melted. Be careful - it might be hot! An adult should remove it with an oven mitt. Stir in the sugar until it's melted, then add graham cracker crumbs until mixture is firm. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture in the bottom of four clear glasses. Add layers of strawberries, whipped topping, and chocolate syrup. Repeat, until glasses are full! Chill in the fridge one hour. Just before serving, drop a big dollop of whipped topping on top, and add crushed candy canes and holiday sprinkles - for a berry festive chilled holiday treat! Enjoy!
